No sooner is Christmas and the New Year out of the way then
it is straight into a variety of exciting photographic assignments. First
off are the new images for Jan Mecrow of Inhouse Interior Design in
Wilmslow. A new partner and new website are on the way so the brief
called for images to show the two of them in their working environment.
Their motto is “What is done in love is done well” , taken from the saying by
Vicent Van Gogh and this was the same approach I took to their ideas. Working closely with the Jan during the shoot
we were able to review each session as we went along, giving her exactly what
she was looking for. The complexities of making a room look light and
airy in the depths of winter was achieved by some very clever use of studio
flashes arranged to mimic daylight.
