Our first BIPP member!

News just in that Leanie Welch, from my Thursday night group, has attained her Licentiateship to the British Institute of Professional Photographers!  I phoned the BIPP today to get some feedback  regarding her submission and they said her work was exemplary and stood out.  From a personal point of view Leanie has assisted me on two professional shoots recently and all I can say is she well and truly deserves this for her work and professional approach towards the client.  Well done Leanie, I'm really proud of you!

The students from the Thursday night course organised what was perhaps their biggest shoot to date.  With seven models, three make up artists, studio lighting and a superb location all I need to do is let their pictures tell the rest.

Wedding Photography in Wilmslow

As a commercial photographer weddings are not something that we advertise, instead Weston Digital Imaging takes on a steady flow of them purely through recommendation and word of mouth.  This time saw me shooting Charlotte's and Joseph's wedding at the Statham Lodge in Lymm, with the assistance of the more than capable photographer Leanie Welch (member of my Thursday night class).

With the right location, the right venue and beautifully turned out bride, groom and guest it makes for a photographer’s dream.  A thoroughly enjoyable day, from photographing the bride getting ready to the speeches and finally their first dance that evening.

Fashion/model photography in Salford Quays

It's a while since I've had time to add some of the many photographic ventures that have taken place recently.  So here is a bit of catch up starting with the Intermediate photography class taking on the challenge of photographing the beautiful Debbie on location at Salford Quays using daylight balanced with fill in flash.  Quite an interest was created as they found themselves the subject of another photography group that was also in the area.

The Intermediate Group is aimed at those photographers who feel they need tuition in the technical aspects of photographys, but I'm sure you will all agree that their images are nothing short of professional!
